Seafood and Zhu Chao @ 3838 Eating Place, Queen Street, Singapore

31 Mar

Dear Food lovers,

Seafood and Zhu Chao is an undersized hawker stall located in 3838 Eating Place at Bugis, Singapore. Apparently 3838 Eating Place is similar to a food court, it consists of many small stalls and is swamped with people during peak hours. My dearest Singapore mates have recommended this unique place after minutes of MRT public transport from Orchard Road, circling buildings and up & down elevators. So I decided to give this place a try even though I was kind of overdressed at that point of time to be dining on plastic tables and chairs by the roadside. Nevertheless, this place did not disappoint me. Once again, never judge a book by its cover. The food was divine and consistent. Food was served at point where it was never too hot (burning) for consumption. Flavours for each dish was just pleasant and balsamic as it touches the taste buds of my tongue.

Small little hawker stall that most people would not notice.

Singapore Fruit Rojak sprinkled with shattered peanuts.

Mongolian Pai Kuat (Pork Ribs) @ SGD 13.00.

Chiu Chao Jing Hong Sek Pan (Teochew Style of Steamed Hong Sek Pan Fish) @ SGD 35.00.

Jiu Pai Tofu (Shop's Specialty Fried Tofu) @ SGD10.00.

Sambal Tung Choi (Morning Glory Vegetable with Sambal Spicy Sauce) @ SGD 9.00.

Thank you my fellow EATERS (Jin Wei, Tina & Agnes) for treating me such delightful and memorable dinner.
