Tamparuli Fried Noodles @ Restaurant Wun Chiap, Tamparuli, Kota Kinabalu

Dear Food lovers,

Restaurant Wun Chiap is located in a small town in Tampuruli, west coast of Sabah. Tamparuli town is renowned for two things, (actually three, but shall mention it on my next blog entry):-

1. Tamparuli Fried Noodles.
2. Tamparuli Bridge.
3. Next blog entry.

Tamparuli fried noodles may be commonly found in Kota Kinabalu restaurant’s menu. However, none of these tamparuli fried noodles tasted as divine as the tamparuli fried noodles served in Restaurant Wun Chiap. They were the original creator of the ‘tamparuli fried noodles’.  The restaurant was established since 1978, a family business where recipe was passed from father to son (Mr Chua Ben Kui).
Most people would drive all the way to Tamparuli just for a plate of Wun Chiap tamparuli fried noodles and it is common for take away orders as the restaurant only caters to approximately twenty-ish patrons and during peak hours, the restaurant is packed out.

Tamparuli fried noodles consist of:- Fried hand made egg noodles, sliced barbeque pork, vegetable and thinly sliced fried egg.
