Christmas/聖誕快樂/Hari Natal

25 Dec

Dear Food lovers,

Christmas is a day to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Savior who died for our sins. Most Christians celebrate this day by attending church services, social gathering and gift giving. While others sees it as a day to give and share.
On the other hand, Christmas is also a day to remember the mythical legend and father of Christmas, that is Santa Claus (Saint Nicholas). It is brought to believe that Santa Claus deliver gifts to homes of good children on Christmas Eve (night before Christmas). Thus children try their best to behave throughout the year just in hope that Santa will lay down their gifts under their Christmas tree.

For me, this year was a bit quiet compared to the previous years of Christmas celebration. I celebrated Christmas Eve with my relatives. Another important event of the year whereby my relatives gather together for dinner or should I say feast. A perfect event to catch up with one another especially relatives from abroad.
Most of these dishes shown were cooked my beloved relatives. Yes, nothing like home cooked food. Yummeh!
Anyway, would like to wish all my readers Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.

Cheddar Cheese and Dutch Smoked Pepper Cheese Platter.

Roasted Chicken.

Fresh Fruit Egg Salad.

Cheese Baked Cauliflower.

Honey Glazed Ham.

Tender Oxtail Stew.

Mashed Potato with Onion.

Ginger Bread House.
